Our Passion

Teaching kids and getting them excited about learning English has been our passion for over 15 years now. Seeing the kids having fun whilst learning something that will benefit them for the rest of their lives means everything to myself and to all of the Coolkids team.

Development of Cool Kids English

In 2021, I set up my own company, which gave me the amazing opportunity to develop a completely fresh new program. Drawing on many years of experience in this exact field, as well as help from an unbelievably successful volksschule teacher (my wife) and the amazing team, we created "Cool Kids English".

Environmentally Friendly

Cool Kids English is as green as we can possibly be, everything is printed on recycled paper, plastic is only used when essential and everything is reused or recycled. We travel to around 90% of all our schools using bikes.

Our Approach

Cool Kids English concentrates purely on 4 to 11 year olds and works basically on the principle of learning the vocabulary around a subject often using cards and games. This vocabulary is then utilized in a more in-depth practical way reading fantastic storybooks, playing more games, videos, worksheets as well as singing and dancing to songs, some of which are composed and performed by our very own Coolkids Corey.

Repetition & Growth

We work on the principle of repetition without boredom in the learning of the vocabulary but always look to utilize short sentences and then slowly grow them over the weeks and find ways to change and improve the phrases to give them exciting new meanings and uses.

Individual Learning

One of our key goals is to help each individual kid find his or her way to fall in love with English. We aim to completely remove the fear associated with foreign languages and enable each child to find their own way to a deeper knowledge, whether it comes through music, books, films... The benefits are enormous! It also really helps the kids in the next school!! It is a big step and from experience, any advantage is welcome.

Positive Impact

As well as teaching English in a fun way we also try and focus on the positive social, environmental and health elements of each subject area we look at. We also love to introduce the kids to the best and most interesting elements of the English and American cultures.

The images have all been produced for CoolKids working with an artist in the UK and they run beautifully and fluidly throughout the program. Whether that be the flash, memory or reading cards, bingos, worksheets or videos.
